jules

Jules made his name as a remixer and dance producer, launching the eclectic Planet Nice dance label in the mid 90’s. He remixed practically all of Texas’ hit singles, along with a multitude of other tracks for the likes of David Arnold, David McAlmont, Bran Van 3000, Touch & Go, Julio Iglesias Jr., Ultimate Kaos etc. His remix work, for major and independent labels, has graced numerous dance compilations and enjoyed extensive radio play.

As Trailermen, his own unique brand of dance music has been signed by the likes of Filter, Dorado and Resolution Records, and widely licensed stateside, and during the late 90’s he established a name as a Deep House DJ across London and Europe. He’s been signed to V2 Records, with his band Columbo, who saw chart success with their debut single. He has also had extensive writing experience whilst signed as an artist to Warner Publishing, and has co-written with Linda Clifford, Alexis Strum and Dimitri from Paris among others.

His TV and film work has included a soundtrack for the award winning Arts Council film ‘Inclusion’, material used in the Ben Affleck/Sandra Bullock movie ‘Forces of Nature’ and various other independent film work. During his 8 year relationship with UPPM he has written material for some 25 albums, and his music has become increasingly popular among producers looking for slick production values, and edgy, dynamic content. It’s been used extensively for promos and trailers, as well as countless TV pieces on networks across the world.
